Hamada Anwar, a member of the Zamalek club, confirmed that his team does not turn away from the sanctions that were imposed on the Tunisian Esperance team by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Anwar added in statements on the “Zamalek” screen: “We are used to the fans, the Tunisian fans love the ball, especially the Esperance fans, especially that its team always achieves championships.”
And the Zamalek member continued his remarks: “The competitor has the right to search for victory for each legitimate right, and this is a request from the President of Zamalek to the youngest fan in the club.”
He continued: “Zamalek won the stadium in Egypt and we want in the second leg the presence of arbitration justice, it is a legitimate right for us.”
And on the penalties that the “K” team issued against the Esperance team, Anwar said: “We do not pay attention to these competing events, as they are important elements before the confrontation, and we work with a calculation for all of the Esperance players.”
The Disciplinary Committee of the African Football Confederation had issued many decisions against the Esperance team, the most prominent of which was the deprivation of Moein El-Shabani and Magdy El-Tarawy from being on the technical seats for four matches.
The penalties also included a pair of Esperance team, who suspended captain Khalil Chammam for six games, compared to four games for the Algerian Abdel-Raouf Bin Ghaith, who scored my African super goal and went against Zamalek.
The first leg, which was held on the Cairo International Stadium, ended in favor of Zamalek with three goals versus one goal, while the return leg will be held tomorrow at the Olympic Stadium in Rades, in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
Zamalek needs a negative tie or in the event of a loss, with a goal that will be within the rise of the four rounds, in return for the demands of the Esperance team to win two goals without a response in order to complete its continental career, especially that the title holder in the last two copies at the expense of Al-Ahly (2018) and Moroccan WAC (2019).
