A strong earthquake strikes an American state … and the most difficult within hours

In the past hours, the US state of Idaho was hit by a strong earthquake of 6.5 on the Richter scale, as the state fights against the Corona virus, according to Voice of America.

The American authorities said that the first tremors occurred at approximately six oclock in the evening, and the epicenter of the earthquake is 118 km northeast of the city of Meridian, near the small mountain city of Stanley.

She noted that more than two million people felt tremors throughout the state, and some of them heard an echo before.

No reports of injuries due to the earthquake have yet been received.

Earthquake expert Lucy Jones confirmed that Idaho experiences earthquakes of this magnitude every three or four decades, the last of which occurred in 1983, and it is likely that the area’s residents will feel more tremors within the coming hours.
