Isolation of 35 people who have been in contact with seven positive cases in Sohag photo

The Health and Population Directorate of Sohag, under the supervision of Dr. Hany Jumai’ah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health accompanied by Dr. Ahmed Azouz, Director of Sohag Health Department, implemented prevention and surveillance teams on the 7 positive cases in the city of Sohag, according to the results of laboratory analysis.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Sohag explained that the monitoring and prevention teams targeted 4 houses, those who were in contact with positive cases were confined, and imposed a quarantine for them inside the house, after the analyzes confirmed that there were no symptoms of injury to them according to the criteria set by the Egyptian Ministry of Health, and that the total number of those in contact with the cases Positive: 35 people. They were compiled and made lists of names and phone numbers. They are followed up regularly around the clock.Jumai’ah added that homes were sterilized and disinfected, and educational lectures were given by officials of the Department of Health Education, on how to prevent and protect people from themselves from infection with Covid-19 virus, explain the procedures for domestic isolation to all, and alert to the need to adhere to these procedures, and coordinate with the authorities concerned with the unit The local and security services, in this regard, knowing that contact with contacts will take place periodically to follow up their health cases, and in case of any symptoms the patient will receive the necessary medical service, and the Health Directorate calls on all citizens to adhere to the houses and follow the preventive instructions.
