According to an official source in the Alexandria governorate, it was decided to put the 11-storey drug, inhabited by 20 families, under quarantine after the tests carried out by its guard showed that it was positive for the emerging corona virus.The source pointed out to “Echo of the Country”, that he was immediately deposited in Al-Ajmi Model Hospital, which is designated for quarantine.

The source added that the drug was immediately placed under the heavy guard, as a security cordon was placed and the drug was closed in the track during the period of sanitary isolation.

For his part, Major General Mohamed El-Sherif, Governor of Alexandria, said that an 11-storey drug was isolated as a precautionary measure in anticipation of infection of any person who had contact with the newly infected case of the Coronavirus.

The governor said in press statements, that this measure is a precaution, praising the position of the population and their promise of about 20 families, their commitment to the decision to isolate and their cooperation in a large and adherence to the instructions.

Al-Sharif pointed out that all residents are in stable conditions and there is no cause for concern, pointing out that they have been provided with enough food for 14 days, pointing out that the residents of the property are well-off and have been supported by the basic needs of living.
