Artist Mounir Makram, member of the Board of Directors of the Representative Syndicate, said that there are no details about the date and place of condolence of the late artist Ahmed Diab, who left our world yesterday, Wednesday.
Munir said in a special statement to “Masrawy”: “There are no details regarding the consolation of the artist Ahmed Diab,” noting that it depends on his family and what will be decided, especially in light of preventing gatherings.
In a telephone conversation with Munira Abaza, sister of the late artist Rushdi Abaza, she assured “Masrawy”: “The artist Ahmed Diab was buried after noon prayer, and we will not be able to offer condolences because of the decision to prevent gatherings and what we are going through these days.”
It is noteworthy that the artist Ahmed Diab was born on August 9, 1945, and he married Taksim’s daughter, Rushdie Abaza, and he did not work in the artistic field at the time, but he separated long ago from her, and he has a single boy named Adham.
