The spread of the Corona virus, prompted the English Premier League, to decide to postpone the current season 2019/2020, indefinitely.
The English Football Association is running the Championship, Championship 1, and League Two competition, and I contacted 71 clubs today, Thursday, to inform them about their plan to resume the season.
The association said, in its statement, that the season’s resumption plan will revolve around the remaining matches within 56 days, once it returns to complete the activity again.
The association explained that the teams should not resume their group exercises until May 16th, after it was decided to postpone everything indefinitely.
The association indicated that it wants to end the current season, stressing that the play will be behind closed doors (without a public presence).
