The US Food and Drug Safety Authority has warned against the use of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of people with coronavirus outside of hospitals.

The American Commission indicated that the use of these two types of medications may lead to vascular problems in patients, especially if they are used with some other drugs or if there are heart or kidney diseases in patients.

This comes a day after a similar warning issued by the European Union, about the risks of the side effect of this drug, and called on doctors to closely follow the cases of patients who use this drug in their treatment of Corona.

It is reported that chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are among the medicines used to treat malaria.

Doctors around the world are currently studying the possibility of using them to treat people infected with the Coronavirus, and the authorities of some countries have allowed this drug to be used to treat Corona patients in some cases.
