FIFA clarified that the decision issued by the Chamber to settle disputes regarding Hamdi Al-Naqaz’s termination of his contract with Zamalek from one side is not final, denying the existence of what he called the player’s lawyer “the red list.”
In a response to Masrawy, the IFTF spokesman said about the decision issued regarding Hamdi El-Naqaz: “We can confirm that the decision in the case involving Hamdi El-Nagaz and Zamalek was taken by the Dispute Resolution Chamber in FIFA 9 April and sent to all parties on 14 April.”
Al-Zamalek denied on Tuesday that he had received the decision regarding Hamdi El-Naqaz, before the Football Association announced today, Wednesday, the arrival of the letter, which already becomes clear through the image of the decision that it was already sent to the Football Association, the player and the club on Tuesday.
But Viva added, however, another aspect, saying: “Nevertheless, the decision is final, and accordingly we cannot comment on anything about its details.”
Regarding the statements of Hamid Al-Naqaz’s lawyer, Anis Bin Mim, about the status of FIFA in Zamalek in what he called the “Red List” due to the many disputes with his former players in the corridors of the International Federation, a FIFA spokesman replied: “We do not have any list under this name.”
The FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber approved the validity of Hamdi Al-Naqaz’s procedures to cancel his contract with Zamalek from one side, while obliging the Confederation and Super African champions to pay one million and 250 thousand dollars to the player.
