“Sleep” is one of the most important factors in maintaining a high immunity against diseases, according to Dr. Vera Sharushkina, head of the nutrition department at Diwan Presidential Hospital.
Sharoshkina added that sleep should be rested for a period of not less than 6 hours a day, allowing the body to produce melatonin.
The doctor called for avoiding all kinds of yeast and candy pastries in this period in which we all need to be in an ideal healthy situation in the face of the Corona virus and other infectious diseases.
And she continued: “We must stop eating food habits aimed exclusively at agility, but should diversify healthy food from meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, fats, carbohydrates and nuts.
She also called for a sports regimen with muscle effort every day because it helps to relieve tension and makes our sleep more reassuring and relaxing, not to mention its important role in delivering oxygen to all parts of the body.
