The Spanish newspaper “Marca” announced that the Ahly club logo won a referendum on the most beautiful logo for a club in the whole world, with the participation of 50 slogans for clubs from different continents.
The newspaper pointed out in a tweet to her via “Twitter” that Al-Ahly ranked first in the referendum, surpassing the slogan Al-Raja Casablanca, who occupied the title, after fierce competition between them.

Al-Ahly Club was founded in 1907, waiting for the red entity 10 years before designing its first logo in its history in 1917.
Muhammad Sharif Sabri Bey, a club member and uncle of King Farouk, is coming to design the first logo for Al-Ahly in 1917, and it was an oval frame, with two parts entering it in red and in the middle of the white color.
The red part on the top is decorated with the crown of the Egyptian king, which was what symbolized the royal rule in Egypt at the time, and on the bottom he wrote “Al-Ahly” in the handwriting of the patch, and in the middle was the famous Al-Ahly Eagle.
After the revolution of July 1952 and the end of the monarchy in Egypt, Al-Ahly removed the royal crown from its logo, replacing it with the word “club”, to include the eagle logo and the words “Al-Ahly Club”.
The Al-Ahly club logo remained the same design until 2007 when the percentage of Al-Ahly club was replaced, as officials of the Red Castle worked on adding after the amendments to it, which continued until the present time.
The new logo witnessed the change of the frame shape with the addition of the golden color to it, with the word “Al-Nadi” raised and the name Al-Ahly written in Arabic and English, and stars referring to the Red Championships were added, in addition to the phrase “Club of the Century” at the bottom of the logo.
Al-Ahly came to the forefront of the referendum after obtaining 3 million votes, before Raja, who won 2.9 million votes, a big difference from Fluminense, who won only 167 thousand votes.
