The clubs participating in the English Premier League have become required to appoint an official dedicated to matters related to the emerging Corona virus, which has spread globally in recent months.
According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, a document related to health guidelines and safety conditions has been sent to all “Premier League” clubs that include the appointment of a dedicated official to deal with matters related to the Corona virus.
The document states that the “Corona official” in the Premier League clubs must be a person with great experience, and qualifications in the health and safety fields, and will not be a member of the club’s medical staff.
The move comes ahead of a expected meeting between Premier League officials and representatives of the club’s players, amid fears from some players, regarding the hasty resumption of football activity in British soil.
And stopped football competitions in the British territory since last March, due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, fresh, before the British government opens the door to the resumption of important competitions behind closed doors, starting from next June.
