Today, Sunday, Lebanese intelligence arrested 5 Sudanese who were sent back by Israel after they infiltrated into its territory South Lebanon.
According to a statement by the Lebanese Army Command, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested at dawn today, in the vicinity of the town of Aita al-Shaab, “five people from the Sudanese nationality for being near a Lebanese border with occupied Palestine.”
The Lebanese army added that it “began to investigate the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.”
And sources confirmed that the five Sudanese are working in Lebanon, and they crossed at dawn today the separation fence heading to Israeli territory. Israeli forces arrested them and interrogated them before they returned them.
For its part, the Lebanese army intelligence stopped the five Sudanese in the same area after their return, and they are being investigated about the reasons I pushed them to try to enter the occupied lands.

The five Sudanese were sent back to Lebanon in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), according to the same newspaper.
