Mahmoud Al-Badri, player of the Military Production Club, confirmed that Al-Ahly officials contacted his agent to try to include him during the transfer market last January, noting that his contract with his team expires at the end of the current season.
Al-Badri said in statements to the program “Audience Al Thaltah” through the channel “On Time Sports 2”: “I am now in production and my contract with the team ends at the end of the current season.”
He added: “Al-Ahly opened the door to negotiations last January, and they contacted my agent, but the league stopped due to the Corona virus, which stopped the negotiations.”
Al-Badri said: “From last year there was talk with Al-Ahly, but the negotiations stopped and I do not know the reason and returned again, and Al-Ahly officials know that my contract with production ends at the end of the current season.”
And the production player continued: “I heard that the name of Zamalek is on the table and that they want to include me, but there is no one who has spoken to me officially, and it is an honor for any player to play in Al-Ahly or Zamalek.”
Al-Badri completed his remarks: “I spent a long time in military production and became the captain of the team, and they have great credit for me, and by a large percentage I will sit with officials at the club and we will reach a solution that satisfies both parties after the end of the current crisis.”
