The Croatian, Ivan Rakitic, opened the Barcelona player the possibility of his departure from Camp Nou during the next summer transfer period.
Rakitic has caught the attention of a number of major clubs, including Atletico Madrid, Naples, Villarreal, Juventus, Seville and some of England’s clubs.
According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, the Manchester United and Tottenham clubs are interested in signing with the 32-year-old.
“I have never closed the doors to make a big difference in my career,” Rakitic told Spanish radio station.
He added: “President Josep Maria Bartomeo has not told me anything, he may listen to us and tomorrow he will call me.”
Rakitic also hinted that returning to his former club Sevilla might be an option after pressuring him in his plans to move forward.
The Croatian joined the ranks of Barcelona at the start of the 2014/2015 season, coming from Seville, Spain.
Rakitic has participated in 299 matches in the Catalan jersey in various championships, scored 34 goals and made 41 assists, and was crowned with the Blaugrana in many local and European championships, most notably the Champions League (once), La Liga (4 times) and the European Super (twice).
