English newspaper reports revealed that the Liverpool team withdrew from negotiating Leipzig’s Timo Werner.

Timo Werner is a favorite player in Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp’s accounts in order to strengthen the team, but the Reds management does not want to pay Leipzig the amount set out to dispense with the player amid the financial crisis that hit the clubs due to the Corona virus.

The British newspaper Mirror said that Liverpool officials will not pay more than 30 million pounds for the arrival of Werner Anfield, but Leipzig estimated the player’s departure at an amount of not less than 50 million pounds.

Two years remain until the end of Werner’s contract with Leipzig, amid concerns the player receives from clubs other than Liverpool, such as Inter Milan and Barcelona.

Werner continued his glory with the Leipzig team this season, as he played 39 games with his team, during which he scored 42 goals, scored 30 goals, and made 12 others.
