The Ministry had caught the violations during its inspection visits carried out on the health facilities in the country.
It is mentioned that the cabinet decided in its meeting on April 29 last to continue stopping the provision of medical services in private health facilities, except for emergency cases, as follows: dental clinics, dermatology and laser clinics, plastic surgery clinics, and surgeries.
The Cabinet’s decision also included continuing to stop providing medical services in the following private health facilities: diet and nutrition centers, physiotherapy clinics, complementary medicine (alternative) of all kinds, and home health services except for long-term nursing contracts, and health centers for people with special needs.
The decision included that the Minister of Public Health may permit any of these private health facilities to provide some of their medical services that can be provided through modern means of communication.
On March 28, the Ministry of Public Health issued a decision obligating private health facilities in the country to suspend some non-emergency health services.
