The Libyan army announces the launch of Operation Ababil birds against Turkey and terrorist militias

(Dpa) – The General Command of the Libyan National Army announced the launching of a military operation in the name of “Ababil Birds”.

According to military media operations, “the operation aims to liberate the last remaining part of the country from the Turkish aggression and the criminal and terrorist militias loyal to it,” according to a post on its official page on the social networking site (Facebook) in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, the Africa News Portal reported that there was mutual artillery shelling between the Libyan army and Al-Wefaq government forces in Salah al-Din and Al-Zayaynah in Al-Qarah Bulli axis, south of the capital, Tripoli.

The spokesman for the General Command of the Libyan National Army, Ahmed Al-Mismari, confirmed on Wednesday that Tripoli “will return to the bosom of the homeland very soon,” and the Libyans promised “pleasant surprises.”

Al-Mismari added in a press conference: “Tuesday was a tactical military day with distinction of the armed forces, and an earthquake devastating the heads of the Takfiri exiles, headed by (Turkish President Recep Tayyip) Erdogan,” according to the Africa News Portal.

He said: “The armed forces fought a historic battle at the base of Uqba ibn Nafi ‘, ​​during which they killed dozens of takfiris from Erdogan’s followers.”

Al-Mismari continued: “The army forces succeeded in luring the enemy to the killing area near the Al-Watiyah base, on which the media attack began about two months ago, where dozens of (Al-Wefaq) government forces were killed and captured,” adding that “there are reports of hundreds of deaths among the forces of Concord. ”

He added: “What we did today is good news for Erdogan and his parents, and they have to wait for more, and we promise you with surprises that the division of Libya project will fail.”
He added: “Tripoli will return to the bosom of the country very soon thanks to its patriotic sons, and I say to the Libyan people, wait for pleasant surprises.”
