Turki Al Sheikh responds to allegations of buying an Egyptian club

Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the General Authority of Entertainment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, denied the truth about his desire to buy an Egyptian club during the coming period.

Al-Sheikh responded to a news story published on the official page of the Egyptian player Ahmed Hassan via “Facebook”, to confirm: “There is absolutely no truth in this matter.”

And press reports were reported in the past days about the desire of some Arab investors to buy a club in the Egyptian league next season.

Al-Sheikh had previous experience in Egypt by purchasing the Assiuti club before he changed the club’s name to Pyramids, but after the end of last season he sold his stake to Emirati businessmen.

Al-Sheikh owns Almeria after he bought the shares of the Spanish club early this season, as the team that plays in the second tier approached to the La Liga League.

It is worth noting that Almeria is in the third rank with 50 points, six points behind the leaders of the competition Cadiz, which includes 22 teams.
