A short time ago, at 5 pm, the application of the curfew date began on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, according to the new procedures for implementing the ban announced by the Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.
Madbouli said on Sunday, May 17th, that the aim of the precautionary measures during Eid al-Fitr is to prevent opportunities for the virus to spread and reduce its transmission.
He stressed that the government was seizing the opportunity during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday and it was agreed that from Sunday to Friday by 6 days, all areas providing entertainment services and beaches and banning the movement of citizens will be closed from five in the evening until six in the morning.
He added in a press conference, held in the Prime Minister, that from after Eid Al-Fitr, curfews will be imposed from eight in the evening until six in the morning the following day, explaining that the gradual return to various activities will be carried out starting mid-June.
