In an unexpected surprise, the name of the young Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush appeared on the bench of the replacements of the German team Wolfsburg, during his confrontation against Augsburg, in the round of resumption of the German first division.

The “Bundesliga” competitions returned today five, with six confrontations that opened the twenty-sixth round, nearly two months after the competition stopped, due to the outbreak of “Covid-19” disease, known internationally as the emerging corona.

Wolfsburg defeated its hosts Augsburg 2-0, despite not participating in the match, the first appearance of Marmouche on the bench of his team’s replacements represented a remarkable step in his professional career, which started early.

Omar Marmoush, 21, started his football career with Wadi Degla juniors, and showed impressive levels, as he won the title of top scorer in the Cairo Junior League League, born in 1999 in 2016, with 44 goals, scoring in only 22 games.

The Egyptian talent attracted the attention of many European clubs, so that the rising striker moved to the Wolfsburg ranks in 2017, and gradually begins his participation with the junior team, then the reserve team.

The Egyptian striker’s contributions gradually evolved, he participated in 17 matches in the team reserve shirt in the 2017/2018 season, and scored 4 goals, while his participation decreased last season due to injury, before he expresses himself perfectly this season.

Marmoush missed the start of the season, before gradually participating in 6 games as a substitute, during which he scored a single goal, but he recovered in the second half of the season, and participated mainly in eight of the last nine confrontations played by the Wolfsburg reserve in the fourth division league.

Marmoush scored eight goals and made two goals in those confrontations, and he was the star of the confrontation in which his team swept the Hanover reserve with five clean goals, where he scored three goals “hat-trick” as he scored two goals in the reserve team Werder Bremen and the same in the nets of Norderstedt, before the competition stopped due to the outbreak of Corona virus.
