The Italian government gave the green light for the football activity to start again, starting on June 13th.
The decision to appeal was made after a meeting today in which the Italian Sports Minister, the League, and the Football Association participated, accompanied by the Association of Players.
The season will resume in Italy on June 13 by playing the semifinals of the Cup competition, then the final will be played on June 17.
Then it will complete the Serie A matches starting from June 20, as they play the matches postponed from Round 26, and start the round confrontations of 27.
Italy now began to gradually return again, so football is supposed to start to come back again, too, said Italian Sports Minister Spavadora, in comments carried by the newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport”.
He added: “Today the health protocol for the return of sporting activity has been approved, and in light of all this we can say that the league championship will resume on June 20, and that there is a possibility to play the semi-finals and the Italian Cup final on the 13th and 17th.”
