Tunisian press reports revealed that the Sfaxien Sports Club will return to entering negotiations with team captain Hamza Mathlouthi to renew his contract, which ends at the end of the current season.
And Tunisian press reports revealed yesterday, Wednesday, that Zamalek entered into negotiations with the leader of the Sfaxien in order to delegate him from the new season.
According to the Tunisian newspaper “Al-Sahafa”, on Thursday, the Sfaxien administration will enter into negotiations with the 27-year-old to renew his contract for an additional season.
The Tunisian newspaper pointed out that the player suffers from several problems with the club’s management, perhaps the most prominent of which is his old financial dues that he did not receive, in addition to leaving the most prominent players of the team.
The newspaper pointed out that Mathlouthi gives priority to the renewal of Sfaxien, but on the condition that the problem of his old dues ends and this is difficult to happen due to the financial hardship in the club during the current period.
The 27-year-old has been captain of the Sfaxien since he joined the squad in the summer of 2016 from the Tunisian Bizerte.
The right-back in the ranks of the Sfaxien team this season managed to participate in 17 games to score two goals and make three assists.
