Nigerian Junior Ajayi, Al-Ahly striker, talked about the players who prefer to play next to them in the team, led by Ali Maaloul, the left-back for Al-Ahmar, in addition to the former team player and current Pyramids Abdullah Al-Saeed.
Ajay added, in statements on “Number One” program, broadcast on “Al-Nahar” channel, that he was missing the game next to Abdullah Al-Saeed after his departure from the team to Pyramids.
He continued: “In the beginning I did not understand him, but after that we became very understanding, and the degree of understanding has reached on the field between us, even if we did not talk before the matches.”
He pointed out that Al-Saeed is a great and distinguished player and has a strong personality on the field, and this makes things easy for any player who is next to him.
He explained that there is no truth about what revenge over his retreating level after the departure of Abdullah Al-Saeed from Al-Ahly, although he lacks playing next to him, pointing out that he has become in harmony with other players in the team and this is football.
He went on to talk about the departure of Moroccan Walid Azzaro to the Saudi Al-Itifaq team on loan, stressing that his departure does not mean that he was a bad player with Al-Ahly.
He added: “Every player is upset about not playing, and he made a decision to leave the ranks of Al-Ahly to enter a new experience with the Saudi agreement.”
Regarding the secret behind the failure of Yo Badji to appear at the expected level, Ajay stressed that the main reason is that he has not adapted to live in Egypt, and he will need more time to show his capabilities better.
He concluded: “I am sure that Badji will be one of the best strikers in the Egyptian league, but with the passage of time, I hope that the fans will support him in recent times in order to be able to achieve successes in the ranks of the Red Team, and in the end I confirm that he will succeed and will convince everyone of his capabilities.”
