FilGoal | News | Greek journalist acquitted Warda: My friend years ago … the conversation was rigged

Demi Stamatilia denied a Greek journalist being harassed by Amr Warda, the Egyptian national team player, contrary to allegations of previous Greek reports.

Earlier Greek reports claimed that Amr Warda was exposed to a new crisis in Greece, this time because of his “harassment” of a famous Greek newspaper reporter. (See details)

But that story is not correct, As the press release revealed.

“I have a very good friendship with Warda,” said Demi Stamatilia.

“The messages (that have spread) already existed, but the conversation itself was rigged by someone,” she added in her comments with the Greek newspaper (Metro Sport).

“And what has been published does not reflect reality at all. I know Warda for years and I love him very much.”

“Warda spoke to me and he was very surprised about what was written in his country about the relationship between us.”

Warda started this season loaning to Larissa from PAOK, before the club announced the end of the loan during the past few weeks and his return to PAOK.

The 26-year-old participated in 23 games this season. He scored 7 goals and made 6 others.
