FilGoal | News | Marca: Barcelona prevents Dembele from going to Doha

Barcelona medical staff is keen to closely monitor the development of the team’s player, Osman Dembele.

French radio “Monte Carlo” made it clear that Dembele asked to travel to the Qatari capital, Doha, to continue training there, the request which was rejected by officials of Barcelona.

Dembele has previously recovered from a previous injury at the Aspetar Center at the Aspire Academy in Doha, but he will continue the treatment journey this time in Barcelonas Sports City.

Dembele has been out of the field since a back muscle injury at the end of last November, and he underwent surgery in Finland later.

Barcelona was forced to make an exceptional deal in February with a contract with Danish Martin Braithwaite from Leganes, after Dembele’s absence was confirmed until the end of the season.

Dembele has generally missed 86 times for Barcelona due to injury since joining him from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2017.

Dembele has participated in only 9 games this season, during which he scored a single goal.
