Italian reports said that Paris Saint-Germain is close to finalizing the move to move Mauro Icardi to its ranks, noting that the deal may take place on Sunday for 58 million euros (to be increased).
Icardi joined the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain early this season on loan from Inter Milan, with a clause allowing the 27-year-old Parisian club to buy.
According to the newspaper “Futbol Italia”, quoting Gianluca di Marzo, a journalist for the “Sky Italia” network, the deal may be completed on Sunday for 58 million euros.
The newspaper added that Inter and Paris agreed on all the details during the past few hours, and the Parisian club is due to pay 50 million euros in exchange for Icardi in addition to 8 million euros in bonuses (half of which are easy to obtain).
She also clarified that the agreement requires that the Paris administration pay an additional € 15 million to Inter Milan if it is sold to an Italian club in the next 12 months.
The newspaper pointed out that this item was agreed upon after the interest of Juventus and Naples to include the Argentine player.
Icardi played the Paris shirt during 31 games in various championships, scored 20 goals and made 4 successful passes.
