Sudanese Foreign Minister Asma Mohamed Abdullah said today, Friday, that Khartoum explained to the Security Council a few days ago its position on the benefits of the Renaissance Dam that Ethiopia is building, and its repercussions.

In another context, the minister stressed that Sudan’s relationship with Ethiopia is “strong”, but added: “It is necessary to accelerate the demarcation of the borders so that the problems do not recur”, in reference to The recent border incident Between the two countries.
She stressed the need “Expediting the demarcation of the border And the military committees sit together to solve the problems. ”
As for the Libyan file, the minister said that Sudan’s position is “steadfast in rejecting any state’s interference in Libyas affairs.”
