Railroad: the fourth batch of American tractors arrives in Alexandria port today

                Railways sources confirmed that the fourth batch of American tractors contracted with General Electric will arrive in Alexandria port today, where the fourth batch includes 20 tractors.</p><div dir="auto">

                    It is noteworthy that the Railways Authority contracted to manufacture and supply 110 new tractors with General Electric of America, and so far 50 tractors have arrived in three batches, where they were transferred to the sorting workshops in Cairo.
                <p dir="RTL">

                    The Railways Authority plans to introduce these new tractors service next month in the passenger transport sector of the railways, to replace the old tractors currently operating, where new tractors are introduced service in succession to replace the old tractors.</p>

                    It is noteworthy that the Railroad Authority contracted with General Electric Company of America to manufacture and supply 100 new rail tractors before increasing them to 110 tractors, in addition to rehabilitating 81 tractors out of service and providing them with the necessary parts, in addition to performing maintenance and providing the necessary parts for 181 tractors for a period of time. 15 years, at a total cost of $ 575 million, along with 440 million pounds, the cost of the 10 added tractors, including contracting to train and rehabilitate 30 engineers and 245 railway technicians in the company's factories.</p>
