Fethi Jebal, the coach of the Tunisian team of Sfaxien, confirmed that his club reached an agreement with Hamza Mathlouthi, the team’s player, to complete the current season before joining Zamalek.
Mountains said in comments to radio IFM Tunisian: I would most likely complete the season with the team before moving to Zamalek, after the parties reached an initial agreement in this regard.
He added, “On the other hand, we are awaiting the return of Hussein Al-Sayed and Islam Bakir in the next two days to support the team.”
He continued: “Our goal is clear and is to be in a position that allows us to participate in the Champions League, and accordingly we will determine our position on the reinforcements of the new season.”
Sfaxien is second in the Tunisian league table after 26 rounds, with 34 points, 10 points behind leaders Esperance.
A source had confirmed that the player has the right to join the Zamalek training starting from next July in the event of obtaining his signature officially, according to what was recently reported, explaining that the Mathlouthi contract with Sfaxi ends June 30 and the player has the right to join any official club starting from July 1.
