The ministry said in a statement today, that the technical problem occurred as a result of the high demand from millions of users wishing to inquire about special allowances, which led to a technical failure and the site temporarily stopped.
And she continued: “The technical problem was solved in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and work is underway to increase the speed of service provision during the coming hours.”
The Ministry called on citizens and pensioners who are not concerned with private allowances not to enter the site during the coming hours to allow the opportunity to reduce pressure and improve the quality of the service to inquire about the bonuses.
It is worth noting that the Minister of Social Solidarity announced that the exchange of the five bonuses came in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and it will be disbursed in quarterly installments at a cost of up to 35 billion pounds.
The number of beneficiaries of the increase in the five bonuses is 2 million and 400 thousand citizens, of whom 1,909 million are from the government sector and about 524 thousand from the public and private sectors, and they will be spent retroactively.
It also announced that the annual periodic bonus will be disbursed by 14%, starting from July 1 without a minimum and a maximum of 980 pounds, at a total cost of 25 billion pounds.
