The government reveals the fact that marriage contracts are suspended for a year

The Media Center of the Council of Ministers stressed that what was raised in some media, websites and social media pages regarding the suspension of marriage contracts for a year starting from next July, has no basis.

The Media Center of the Council of Ministers stated in its statement today, Friday, that it had contacted the Ministry of Justice, which denied these reports, confirming that it is not correct to suspend marriage contracts for a year from next July, and that no decisions have been issued in this regard, explaining the continued permission of all authorized persons. The governorates of the republic in the marriage contract in their own offices, provided that attendance is limited to the husband, wife, agent and witnesses only to prevent gatherings, while taking all precautionary measures, and commitment to working hours in accordance with the decision to prohibit roaming.
