The Prime Minister discusses the plan to resume the movement of foreign tourism and aviation

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting to discuss the plan to resume the movement of foreign tourism and aviation, which was attended by Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Pilot Mohamed Manar Enaba, Minister of Civil Aviation.

During the meeting, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani presented the position of hotels with health safety certification in Cairo, Ain Sukhna, the Red Sea, South Sinai, Alexandria and the northern coast.

The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities highlighted the hotel occupancy rates during the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday, as it came in the forefront of Alexandria and Ain Sukhna equally by 25% each, then the Red Sea and Greater Cairo, followed by South Sinai and finally Matruh and the northern coast.

Dr. Khaled Al-Anani pointed out that several promotional and promotional campaigns and short films were prepared through social networking sites, and they were sent to all tourist markets abroad, pointing out that the filming of a promotional film entitled “A tourist in Egypt” that includes (the airport – the Egyptian Museum – hotels) has been completed. During the meeting, the measures taken by some countries to resume the movement of foreign tourism and civil aviation were reviewed to determine the success of the experiment and the implementation of measures that are compatible with the nature of tourism capabilities and capabilities in Egypt.

During the meeting, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, presented procedures for receiving incoming tourism, whether the general requirements are required, or the procedures required to be met before the arrival of the tourist, on the plane, upon arrival, and during the stay in Egypt, as well as the procedures for operating facilities, whether airports or Open and non open restaurants, in addition to organizing visits to archaeological sites.

The pilot, Mohamed Manar Enaba, the Minister of Civil Aviation, presented the preparations and procedures that have been implemented in the various airports, to resume the movement of air, as all the precautionary and preventive measures applied internationally have been implemented, and domestic flights are being operated on a number of flights with high efficiency.

At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister was tasked with submitting a plan to resume the movement of foreign tourism and aviation to the Supreme Committee for Managing the New Corona Virus Crisis, so that decisions can be taken in this regard.
