Bournemouth is on the verge of relegation to the Premier League, after losing 2/2 to Southampton on Sunday in the thirty-seventh (penultimate) stage of the Premier League.

Bournemouth remained in the eighteenth place (third from the bottom) by arranging the competition with 31 points, a difference of three points behind Watford, the seventeenth place, while the balance of Southampton rose to 49 points in the eleventh place temporarily until the end of the remaining matches of the stage.

Danny Ings scored the first goal for Southampton in the 41st minute, before the player himself wasted a penalty kick for the guests in the 59th minute, while individual Adams secured the second goal in the eighth minute of the counted time instead of wasting the second half.

Bournemouth, who will have only one game in the championship this season against its host Everton, will be the second to go to first-class after Norwich City (bottom club), if Watford gets a single point from its two remaining matches in the competition against Manchester City and Arsenal.

Bournemouth may also drop, if Watford lose two games and Aston Villa, the penultimate place with 31 points, gets four points from his last two matches in the competition against Arsenal and West Ham United.

It is reported that the last three teams in the Premier League table will drop to the Champions League.
