Cameroon is scheduled to host the semi-finals of the African Champions League, in which the Egyptian National Football Teams and Zamalek are next to the final match, but the matter has not been confirmed.
The Minister of Youth and Sports said in a statement on the “Number One” program that Egypt is ready to host the final of the African Champions League in case Al-Ahly and Zamalek qualify.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi added that Egypt is always ready to host the major tournaments and the big African finals, and we will be ready to host the African Champions League final if the Confederation of African Football requests “enough”.
The CAF Champions League semi-finals will witness pure Arab confrontations between Egypt and Morocco, with Al-Ahly facing the Moroccan Wydad team, and Zamalek facing the Moroccan Raja team.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) had decided to hold the CAF Champions League semi-final with a one-match system. In the event of a tie result continuing, resorting to playing additional time in two games, after which a penalty shootout will be taken, if the tie result continues.
