Lalana will end his 6-year term at Anfield after his contract expires at the end of the season.
“It is clear that Adam will leave the club at the end of the season, but he is with us at this moment,” Klopp said in comments highlighted by his club’s website.
“He is an outstanding player and he is one of the most influential players in their training throughout my training career.”
Klopp has not put Lallana on the list of any games he played since football returned after a 3-month hiatus due to the spread of Corona virus.
“Everything was coordinated with Adam, he is physically ready, he is 100% in training and everything is fine, but we are thinking about his future,” he said.
He stressed, “As long as we do not need his participation, he will only train, but if we need his help on the field we can get it, but we will not put any danger to his future.”
“From my personal point of view, Lalana is already a legend in Liverpool, and we hope to become a legend somewhere else next season,” the German coach concluded.
