Saeed Wehbe, spokesperson for Moroccan Raja Club, stressed his club’s desire to apply the principle of equal opportunities when choosing the venue for the remaining matches of the African Champions League.
Said Wehbe said on On Time Sports 2: “Raja is the only team in Africa and the Arab world that is competing for 3 important tournaments, namely the Moroccan League, the African Champions League and the Arab Championship.”
“We are awaiting the decision of the African Union regarding the country that will host the semi-final and final matches of the African Champions League,” he added.
“We affirm our full confidence in the African Union, and our goal is to apply the principle of equal opportunity before choosing a place,” he added.
“We will not formally comment until after the decision of the African Union and the announcement of the country hosting the African Champions League matches, whether it is Egypt or any other country,” he concluded.
Rajaa plays against Zamalek in the semi-final, and Al-Ahly against Moroccan Wydad.
