According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, quoting the Italian “Corero della Sera”, Inter Milan agreed to reduce the price of Lautaro Martinez from 111 million euros, as is the penalty clause in the player’s contract with them, to 90 million euros only.
The newspaper says that Inter Milan reduced the price due to Laotaros desire to move to Barcelona, and under current market conditions after the Corona pandemic.
On the other hand, Barcelona still sees a large amount of 90 million euros despite the reduction of nearly 21 million, and the Spanish team is trying to pressure Inter to reduce a larger amount.
Inter Milan may actually agree to reduce the price of Laotaro Martinez more, but this will be provided that another player in a mutual deal with Barcelona gets under which Inter gets a player they want to include along with a sum of money.
Felipe Coutinho, Brazilian player for Barcelona and loaned this season to Bayern Munich, may be this player who moves to Inter Milan along with the money.
Coutinho had already played for Inter Milan from 2008 to 2013 before moving to Liverpool.
Laotaro Martinez participated in this season in 38 games in various championships. He scored 17 goals and made 5 others.
