Today, Alaa Morsi celebrates his 55th birthday, as he was born on July 3, 1965.
We review some stories about the comedian.
Emirati work in Ramadan
While Alaa Morsi was absent from Ramadan drama in Egypt, and appearing as a guest of honor in the Omar and Diab series, he participated in the Emirati series “Khashea Nashe” in the role of Bayoumi.
A movie on hold
Alaa Morsi is awaiting the screening of the movie Rima, in which he participated, directed by Moataz Hossam, written by Ahmed Anwar, starring Maya Nasri, Mohamed Tharwat, Firas Saeed and Ihab Fahmy.
He is also presenting to him the movie “The Box of the World”, directed by Imad Al-Bahat, who returned again in theaters, after some cinemas returned to work.
Resorting to writing and directing
Despite Alaa Morsi’s many posts, which made about 250 works in his history, he recently tended to present some works written and directed by him, such as the Egyptian Stock Exchange coffee film, which he co-wrote and starred in.
He also announced at the end of 2019 that he had finished filming and editing the movie “The Blue Whale,” which he considers the beginning of works he hoped to present, and that he is a hero and his director, according to previous statements by “Masrawy”.
Fear for his son from acting
Mohamed, son of artist Alaa Morsi, is starring in the movie “The Blue Whale,” though he sees that his son is highly talented in directing and editing, adding: “He is afraid of acting, because he is difficult and needs steps and effort, but if he cares about himself as a director, he will remain an important director.”
His relationship with Social Media
He said he is interested in Social Media and responds to followers, adding that he has a page in the name of talented people, which he manages and responds to all talented people, pointing out that he is not fluent in dealing with Twitter, adding jokingly: “With a sense that people interfere with insulting and running.”
