Egyptian star Mohamed Salah confirmed that his Liverpool colleague, Jordan Henderson, deserved the award for the best player in the current season of the English Premier League.
Salah said in televised comments: “If I asked about Alison, the rest would choose him, and if I asked about Virgil, Dyke would choose the rest. Everyone deserves, including me, Arnold presented a great season, as well as Henderson, but I will choose Henderson.”
Salah justified his choice: “I will choose Henderson because he has been there for eight or nine years and has gone through a lot of difficult periods and has been subjected to a lot of criticism, and he is also a very good, enormous person, and everyone loves him as a leader.”
Salah achieved his fourth title with “Reds” after Liverpool crowned the Premier League title for the nineteenth time in its history after the absence of 30 years, after losing its direct competitor Manchester City, last Thursday evening, in front of its host Chelsea, 1-2.
