Juventus defender, young Dutchman Matthias De Liecht, has increased troubles with a shoulder injury, which may cause him to need surgical intervention soon.
According to the newspaper “Corriere de Torino”, the prospect of De Licht undergoing surgery to end his shoulder injury since last November has become very strong after the end of the season.
De Licht underwent a shoulder dislocation during his team’s encounter with Atalanta in November last year, and he suffers from pain from this injury from time to time.
Juventus is preparing for the end of its milestone season to face the French team Lyon in the first week of August next, in the second leg of the sixteen Champions League round, whose competitions continue collectively until the twenty-ninth of the same month, in the Portuguese capital Lisbon.
The Italian newspaper added that the surgical intervention will represent a permanent solution to the injury of the 21-year-old, rather than repeat his suffering during the coming period, but it depends on a joint decision between the player and his club.
