The hashtag # Eid-Salat, the most searched by search engines and the Twitter microblogging site, has been issued after what is reported is its usual form in all mosques and arenas.

However, the media center of the Council of Ministers had confirmed that there was no truth to what was reported on social media, regarding allowing the Eid al-Adha prayers to be held in all mosques in various governorates.

And that the Eid prayer will be, as happened on the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, that it will only be transmitted through various satellite channels, and mosques should broadcast the takbeers only as part of the Egyptian government’s plan to confront the Corona virus.

The Ministry of Awqaf said that the decision to open mosques is still limited only to the performance of the five daily prayers, while the suspension of the Friday prayer is still suspended, indicating that the Eid al-Adha prayers will be transferred from the “Sayyida Nafisa” mosque with a limited number of endowment workers.

The ministry confirmed, in its statement, that the rest of the mosques will be limited to raising the takbeer for the Eid through loudspeakers through the Holy Quran Radio without attending to the worshipers or the enlarged, and the presence of the mosques will be limited to the imam and the workers assigned to broadcast the takbeers without opening the mosque to the worshipers.

The Ministry called on all media and social media users to be careful and objective in disseminating the news, and to communicate with the concerned authorities to make sure before publishing information that is not based on any facts, and that leads to confusion among the citizens.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Awqaf is studying these days a mechanism and controls for the gradual return of Friday prayers and presenting them to the Corona Crisis Management Committee at the Council of Ministers at its meeting after Eid al-Adha.
