Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, revealed the features of the new academic year in light of the continued spread of the Corona virus.
Shawky confirmed in TV statements, that the ministry will resort to a model of integrated education, which is based on being part of the educational process in the school and the other part by the distance learning system.
The Minister of Education added that, for kindergarten pupils, they will attend school every day, because they need to deal directly with the teacher.
The Minister of Education added that, from grade 4 to primary and secondary school, forms will be dealt with commensurate with the age group, noting that high school students may have attendance at school every day per week.
As for the preparatory stage students in its three grades, the minister said: “Students will come to school some days while they complete the educational process the rest of the days from home, but some procedures are required.”
The Minister of Education indicated that pupils from 4 primary to 6 primary will attend school most days of the week and will not be absent except for one day, for example.
The Minister of Education stressed that the final image of the academic year has not yet fully materialized, stressing that in all cases the Ministry is very interested in ensuring that the safe distances are committed within all classes.
