Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Center for Analysis and Forecasting at the Meteorological Authority, said that the temperatures revolve around the natural rates for such timing of the year, and continue for the next 5 days, expecting temperatures to rise above the rates after that.
Shaheen added that the month of July is nearing completion and the country has not witnessed any violent heat wave or a noticeable rise in temperatures, but with the beginning of next week and approaching the end of July, we expect changes in the weather, pointing out that the high humidity levels continue during the current period .
He continued: “The weather will be mild on Cairo and the sea front is moderate on the very hot northern coasts on southern Sinai and northern and southern Upper Egypt.”
He pointed out that the temperatures on Cairo are 35 degrees, the northern coasts 30 degrees, and South Sinai 38 degrees, and the temperatures on the north and south of Upper Egypt range between 40 and 42 degrees.
The director of the Center for Analysis and Weather Forecasts confirmed that the water crab in the late hours and early morning hours is the most influential during the current period, as it is dense on roads near water bodies and agricultural areas.
Shaheen said that the country is still subject to the seasonal low of India, which is continuing until next month.
