Mohamed Al Nahiri, defender of the first team of the Moroccan club, Wydad, stressed that facing his expected team in front of his Egyptian counterpart, it is considered life or death for the players of the Moroccan team, pointing out that there is no room for compensation.

During statements to the Moroccan newspaper “Le 360” Sport, Al-Nahiri said: “The Wydad match against Al-Ahly of Egypt is life or death, especially since there is no opportunity to compensate in the return match. We are required to focus and do more to overcome the Egyptian team’s obstacle and reach the final match for the third time on Respectively. ”
Wydad defender added: “The players’ morale is high after they return to group training after the layoff.”
He continued: “The technical staff and the players are aware of the difficulty of the next stage and the size of the responsibilities assigned to them, especially as the team is taking on the challenge of preserving the local league title and regaining the (stolen) title in the African Champions League.”
Al-Nahiri stressed at the end of his statements that the Wydad players will not concede the victory over Al-Ahly and reach the final match that will be held next September.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly awaits Wydad in the African Champions League semi-final, while Zamalek will meet Moroccan Raja in the same round.
