The owners of chronic diseases, especially gout patients, are the most exposed to risk from fatty meals on the blessed Eid al-Adha, especially eating red meat, which is one of the most prominent customs and traditions on the feast, and for this they should follow some advice while eating meat.
The “health” website revealed the most important advice that gout patients should follow while eating meat, namely:
1- It is advised to eat one piece of meat, preferably beside it leafy vegetables such as parsley.
2- Drinking drinks that help digest food, such as carrot juice, because it facilitates digestion and prevents salts.
3- Remove fat from meat before cooking it.
4- Exercising, especially after eating a hearty meal, but the time for exercising is two hours after eating.
