Awad Taj al-Din, the advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, revealed that Egypt has reserved its share of the Corona virus vaccine from the University of Oxford, explaining that the race is continuing to produce a vaccine for the Corona virus.

Taj El-Din indicated, during a phone call to the “Liberation Hall” program, broadcast on “Echo Al Balad” channel, that the Oxford vaccine is still in the clinical trial stage so far.

He explained that the vaccine is obtained by the most vulnerable groups, such as medical groups, as they deal with patients, the elderly, and people with chronic diseases, stressing that talking about Corona has become similar to seasonal influenza, is strange, because the flu is not as dangerous as the Corona epidemic.

He added that the Corona virus is still remaining, and that the numbers will continue to vary until next March, after which the numbers begin to decrease, noting that the incubation period for the Corona virus extends to 15 days, stressing the need not to forget the precautionary measures.
