Today, Monday, the security services in Cairo arrested a woman, who was found to have assaulted a police officer and tore his clothes inside the Heliopolis Court, because he had asked her to wear a mask.

Investigations revealed that she tore the officer’s clothes, stripped al-Miri’s rank and insulted him, saying: “I work in the United Nations, you garbage.”

One of those inside the court that witnessed the incident photographed it and placed it on social media, and the accused was arrested, and she was referred to the Nuzha Prosecution Office for investigation.

A security source said that the Inspection and Control Sector at the Ministry of Interior had begun extensive investigations into the incident.

The source added to Al-Masry Al-Youm that the surveillance cameras that recorded the incident were seized, and the officer was summoned to hear his statements, in preparation for referring them to the Public Prosecution Office for investigation.
