On Monday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Israel on the first day of his tour in the Middle East, according to what the US embassy said on Twitter.

According to videos released by the US embassy, the US Secretary of State was wearing a muzzle in the colors of his country’s flag when he got off the plane that landed at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.
Pompeo, who was wearing a muzzle in the colors of his country’s flag, met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his office in Jerusalem.
Pompeo and the Israeli prime minister were to consult, especially about the Iranian file and relations between Israel and the rest of the Middle East countries, as confirmed by his spokesman in Washington.

A source familiar with “Reuters” agency revealed, on Saturday, that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will visit Israel, on Monday, and then head to the United Arab Emirates, on Tuesday, to discuss the normalization agreement between the two countries.
The source, who requested anonymity, added that Pompeos agenda also includes discussing security challenges that Iran and China represent in the region.
Al-Arabiya correspondent reported that Pompeos visit to Israel would take 24 hours.
It is reported that the UAE announced, on August 13, the A peace agreement between it and Israel. In a joint statement published by “WAM” at the time, it stated that an agreement had been reached between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, US President Donald Trump, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a phone call, to direct full bilateral relations between Israel and the UAE.
US President Donald Trump said that the agreement between the UAE and Israel, which stops annexing Palestinian lands, will be signed at the White House within three weeks.
