Ramy Rabia, the star of Al-Ahly defense, said that his chances are still there to catch the return match against Wydad in the semi-finals of the African Champions League, despite his injury, which needs a month’s treatment in order to return.
Rabiaa suffered a rupture in the posterior muscle in the Al-Ahly and Tanta match, which was held on Saturday, and ended with the victory of the red team with a clean goal, which is an injury that is away from the stadiums for a month at least, according to Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the football manager.
Rabia added to Al-Ahly channel, “I intensified treatment with the Al-Ahly rehabilitation doctor, and my chances are to catch up with the rematch against Wydad.”
Al-Ahly will go out to meet Moroccan Wydad on the 17th of October with the semi-finals of the African Champions League, while the return match will be held on the 23rd of the same month.
Rabia said, “The injury was a rupture that was caused by a strain in the FC Egypt match and a muscle strain.”
