Minister of Education and Technical Education, Dr. Tariq Shawky, confirmed that the new academic year 2020/2021 will be better than the previous academic years.The Minister of Education said in televised statements to him today that the student will study the basic subjects that are added to the total through educational channels during school days from outside the school.
The Minister of Education added that for the days when the student will go to school, the schools will provide students with special classes for the subjects that are not added to the total, in addition to the activity classes and answering students ’questions.
The Minister of Education stated that the work of the year will be granted to students in the new academic year based on several examinations and researches, in addition to holding students accountable for attendance and absence, and students will be asked about the lessons that were explained on the educational channels firstly.
The Minister of Education indicated that the goal of this different system is for the ministry to be prepared at any moment for any development related to the situation of Corona in Egypt, so that the educational process continues without any negative impact on the surrounding circumstances, and so that the school is not the only basis for learning as it used to happen in past years.
– Grades KG1 to the third primary school .. Attendance in “one-shift schools” will be 4 days a week, and for “two-shift schools” attendance will be 3 days a week, and the final schedule for student attendance will be determined at the school level.
– Grades from fourth to sixth primary grades .. Attendance in “one-shift schools” will be two days a week, and for “two-shift schools,” attendance will be 3 days a week, and the final schedule for student attendance will be determined at the school level.
– Grades 1 to 3 of middle school .. Attendance will be two days a week, and the final schedule for student attendance will be determined at the school level.
– Grades 1 to 3 secondary … attendance two days a week, and the final schedule for student attendance will be determined at the school level.
The Minister of Education and Technical Education reviewed the ministry’s plan to provide learning resources in the new academic year, and it came as follows:
– Grades KG1 to the third primary school .. The new system 2.0 interdisciplinary curriculum will be taught in the school.
